For those who want to play the game on a real Atari XL/XE, but don’t want the hassle of programming the game onto an 8mbit Atarimax Maxflash cartridge themselves, KJMann’s Atari Sales and Service has stepped up to the plate and is offering the game pre-loaded with a nice gloss label, at their Store on page 4 of the Carts Section.

They also have a nice preview video of the final, finished version of the game (rather than work in progress ones I’ve posted previously)

KJMann has been, shall we say, instrumental, in getting the game produced, being none other than Sal Esquivel, who arranged the music for it.

Here’s a movie showing some of the new work. I like the quality of Vimeo, and I wanted to do some comparison movies, but I don’t think I’ll be able to put those on Vimeo, as they dislike video game footage (unless it’s original work). There’s quite a few Clips on YouTube of the original if anyone is interested enough, so I guess it doesn’t really matter. I want to say thanks to the AtariAge members who uploaded last year’s clips to YouTube after my dire experience of trying to have my ISP host the streaming media.

I guess Fasthosts don’t like hosting streaming media, as they deliberately crippled playback of the first movies I uploaded, even after any initial interest had died down (and there wasn’t that much!). Goodness knows what would happen if they actually hosted any popular sites. Anyway, I’m sure they will be happy now they’re hosted elsewhere.
